I was going on holiday two days from then and I'd been lax on laundry. It was the worst time it could happen. He passed me a number to call.
I left a message on the voicemail that night, late, saying if we could do the next morning it'd be appreciated. The next morning I awoke before 9am to a missed call from a clearly on-road engineer. I called back, and the engineer was at my doorstep 30 mins later.
Friendly, chatty and with enough tools to maintain an oil rig, the guy found the issue and fixed it within an hour. Not only that: the source of the issue was a tiny standard socket clasp, replaced and insulated easily. He could've made a meal of it, or not even noticed and left me for days waiting for parts (that ultimately wouldn't have worked).
I can't talk of the price, as it wasn't me paying, but my choice of holiday wardrobe was saved in less time than it took to choose it all. It drove me to post my first ever review of a local business online. Make of that what you will.
